Alyssa Avenell

Alyssa grew up in Omaha, Nebraska.  She went to college at UNL and then moved back to Omaha where she pursued a career in sales and management. She is married to her husband Jason and they have three girls Caleigh, Nora and Larson. When Jason’s company OneStaff Medical began to grow, they decided it was best for Alyssa to stop working outside the home so she could focus on being more present for the household.  

Alyssa’s connection to childhood leukemia is very close to her heart as she lost a brother (Cal) at the age of three. She decided to join Ava’s Ay as she has witnessed what great things the group has done and cannot wait to get more involved and be a part in helping families that are impacted by this terrible disease.
