Carrie Olson
Carrie works as a Customer Success Manager at LinkedIn, where she helps her clients achieve impactful Learning and Development goals through LinkedIn Learning. She has worked for LinkedIn for the past 7 years. She lives in Omaha with her husband Andrew and their 2 children, Lia (6) and Livvy (2). She is very passionate about pediatric leukemia advocacy, inspired by her daughter Lia’s heroic journey with leukemia from 2019 to 2022. Lia's specific type of Leukemia is very rare and high risk, and she was the first patient in Nebraska to receive immunotherapy proactively in her leukemia treatment. Now that Lia is cancer-free, Carrie is dedicated to giving back and supporting families facing similar challenges. She has served as a board member, public speaker, and volunteer for organizations that support this cause and is excited to help fund more research and improve outcomes for high risk leukemia patients with Ava's Army. Last year, she had the honor of lobbying on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Washington, D.C., telling Lia's story on a national stage and advocating for critical legislative support for blood cancer patients to members of Congress and Senate. She also loves taking on home remodeling and DIY projects.
